Between Béziers, Agde and the Etang de Thau lake
Domaine Sainte Veziane is a campsite in Bessan, a village on a human scale, in the Hérault department, located halfway between Béziers and the Etang de Thau lake. The seaside resort of Cap d’Agde, with the beaches, theme parks and numerous tourist activities is a quarter of an hour by road from the campsite. Occupying a hill at the gateway to the village, this extends over around 10 hectares.
On-site, you’ll find a wide selection of holiday rentals, this outdoor establishment having chosen comfort and peace of mind for holidaymakers. A further leading facility is the 2,000 m² campsite water park, open from 1st May until the end of September. This consists of two large pools with wavy shapes, within which notably a paddling pool with water games, hydrotherapy benches, a swan’s neck, etc. are laid out. A family campsite par excellence, the Domaine Sainte Veziane offers children numerous possibilities for fun. Amongst the other must-see tourist attractions in the Hérault, you can go to Montpellier from the Domaine Sainte Veziane, to admire the historic architecture, Place de la Comédie square and Jardin des Plantes botanical gardens, one of the oldest in France. Nature lovers can discover the Cirque de Navacelles cirque, a spectacular natural site which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or walk along the Canal du Midi canal, also perfect for a barge trip or cycling.
Further inland, the Pic Saint-Loup mountain offers hikers breathtaking views, whilst the Clamouse cave reveals fascinating underground formations. Lastly, for history enthusiasts, the medieval village of Saint Guilhem le Désert, nestling in the Hérault gorges, is a must-see stop during a stay in Bessan!
