An unforgettable holiday on campsite Les Sablons
One of the most beautiful campsites on the Hérault coast is located in the seaside resort of Portiragnes, by the sea. Its name is Les Sablons, a 5-star Village Club featuring, among other strong points, direct access to the beach...
The luxury and the modern on a campsite opened in 1969
There is no shortage of superlatives when it comes to the Les Sablons campsite! This establishment, opened in 1969, is established in exceptional natural scenery, between the huge sandy beach of Portiragnes and the old estuary of the Libron, the word “grau” meaning estuary in Occitan. The area of several hectares, is perfectly wooded, with typical Mediterranean vegetation that, since the opening of the campsite, has had time to grow. Today it procures enough shade to the pitches and rentals of les Sablons.
Although the standard chalets, lodge tents and mobile homes are abundant, comfortable and perfectly laid out, this establishment also has a new Premium area, in the heart of the property, as close as possible to the leisure and sports facilities. The 49 highly luxurious mobile homes are grouped together in an oasis of colour and freshness, between umbrella pines and white poplars. Modern, design and sophisticated, these TAOS VIP are the cream of the crop in high-end campsite accommodation. Air-conditioned, they all feature safes and free WiFi, in addition to, of course, other comfort equipments.
An atmosphere smelling sweetly like holiday!
Everything, absolutely everything, is done at camping les Sablons to entertain the guests and to provide them with an unforgettable stay. From sports activities to evening entertainment, the establishment leaves little room for hyperactives to get bored. Those who wish to relax and do nothing during their holiday are obviously also welcome, but, caught up in the atmosphere, they are likely to wet their shirt!
The water park is a good example. With its two large pools, one of which is indoor, its balneotherapy pool, its huge water slide and its 4-lane multi-slide, it is the ideal place to have fun and make the most of the joys of swimming. The ensemble is heated at 26 °, even the most chilly persons have no excuse to not get wet. If the two sunbathing areas and the lush beaches are ideal places to laze in the sun or in the shade (the solar screen and the parasols are useful for that!), the pools are made for fun!
During the season, the animation team organises indeed many activities and fun water games. Besides the traditional aquaerobics and aqua bike sessions, allowing you to improve your physical shape whilst having fun, it is also possible to take part in many other activities such as the backwards slide race, water polo, timed lengths, snorkel treasure fishing, or even more surprising, crossing the floating island or water-skiing in the pool!
Other types of challenges, on land this time, are the Olympics of les Sablons. For children as well as for adults, they consist of having lots of fun whilst taking part in play and sports activities...
Finally, be aware that in the evening the entertainment continues. Between massive choreographed events, live concerts, foam or disco parties, guests will have plenty to do, even more so since, for the late sleepers, the campsite has its own nightclub!
The Hérault, a department with no shortage of charm
The Les Sablons campsite, located in Portiragnes Plage, a seaside resort on the Hérault coast, is an ideal base to discover the charms of the Hérault, a department with lots of benefits to appeal to tourists. Even if the 87 kilometres of beaches attract each summer many tourists, the charms of the inland are also worth to be discovered during your stay by the sea!
Three of the most beautiful villages of France are only a few minutes by car from the campsite: Olargues, Minerve and Saint-Guilhem le Désert. By the way the latter is also crossed by the gorges of the Herault, canyons considered as one of the "Great Sites of France".
Among the natural sites of the Department you shouldn't miss the famous Cirque de Navacelles and the Valley of Salagou, which houses a namesake lake. Finally, the cities of Montpellier and Béziers are a must during your holiday on campsite Les Sablons.
