It enjoys numerous advantages, starting with its idyllic location by the Mediterranean.
The campsite which stretches over a 24-hectare area, indeed runs alongside the Castellas beach, from which this campsite takes its name. Several kilometres long, the latter is the prime beach in Sète and continues up to Marseillan Plage (a neighbouring beach on this coastline). Swimming is supervised in summer and a cycle track has been laid out on the edge of the latter. It is thus easy and danger-free to go to Sète from Le Castellas.
Besides its direct beach access, this luxurious Sète campsite entices holidaymakers through the quality of the offerings which are guaranteed here, as well as with the comfort of its holiday-hire accommodation. Thus, amongst the 983 plots laid out within the pine forest, which covers a large part of the site, nowadays more than half are occupied by mobile homes and chalets, as well as lodge tents.
This accommodation has been perfectly thought out to optimise holidaymakers’ comfort. This is, in particular, the case with the Premium range at the Le Castellas campsite. Modern and well-equipped, these mobile homes have a lovely living space and a particularly meticulous interior decor. Lastly, for those who prefer more traditional forms of camping, numerous plots are on-site to accommodate tents, caravans and other campers.
Ever more services intended for holidaymakers
Season after season, holidaymakers’ experience during their stay is at the heart of the concerns of the Le Castellas campsite team. This experience should be as successful as possible and a multitude of services enable the team to meet holidaymakers’ expectations on site. For example, several shops are open on-site, such as a grocery, a bakery, a restaurant, a pizzeria, a snack bar/takeaway, as well as a bar.
The site also has a launderette, a souvenir shop, an international newspaper stand and, of course, a reception, where you are able to benefit from tourist advice in abundance
Amongst the on-site sports and leisure facilities, there is a multi-sports ground, a beach volleyball court, a tennis court, an area for playing boules, as well as ping-pong tables. Although it is established by the sea and enjoys direct access to the beach, Le Castellas also has a lovely aquatic park
An entirely new aquatic park and activities for the whole family
The campsite aquatic area is open throughout the entire season. Completely redone for the beginning of the 2017 season, this is one of the loveliest parks in the Hérault département. It is made up of an outdoor pool, comprising an area of 450 m², for which swimming is monitored by lifeguards, a children’s pool of 60 m², a 5-lane multi-slide and 1,200 m² of artificial beaches and solaria. Moreover, the beaches and solaria are equipped with numerous sunbeds. A new restaurant, known as the “10/24” is moreover placed side by side with the pools. It offers those who wish to the option of having something to eat by the pool. The swimming pool snack bar, as well as the bar “L'Oz'in” offers drinks, ice creams, sweetmeats and other dishes, either to enjoy by eating in or taking away.
To make you feel good, Le Castellas campsite has a well-being area extending over 160 m². An ultra-cosy relaxation area enables you to unwind and enjoy plant-based teas and soft drinks.
As regards activities, Le Castellas is not left behind since during the summer season, a daily programme of diverse recreational and sports activities takes effect, with tournaments, gym and aquaerobics classes and similar activities. In the evening, the activities continue ensuring the greatest pleasure for all of the family! Lastly, children aged 4 to 13 years who wish to can join the Maison de Topi, the children’s club on the Le Castellas campsite.
