In the immediate vicinity, the beaches in Vias stretch over five kilometres of fine sands, offering the perfect setting for swimming, water sports and walks by the sea. You can hire bikes right near the campsite and pedal to the La Farinette beach. With lifeguard supervision in summer, it is particularly enjoyable for families, whilst the La Méditerranée beach is wilder and attracts nature lovers.
A few kilometres from here, the town of Marseillan is a further tourist destination to explore during a stay on Les Salisses, with the picturesque marina and local wine tastings. Be sure to visit the Maison Noilly Prat distillery, famous for vermouth. Travelling along the Mediterranean coast, you'll reach Sète dubbed the ‘Venice of the Languedoc’, renowned for the canals, lively fishing port and beaches here. Art lovers can visit Pézenas, an historic town with exceptional architecture. It offers you the chance to immerse yourself in the past, with private mansions and town houses (known as ‘hôtels particuliers’) and the well-preserved historic centre.
