Indeed, this establishment offers you the chance to stay in new and spacious cottages, such as the “Premium” range, air conditioned, shaded and in a perfect location. In addition, hire of the “Ultimate” designs includes a hotel service, with sheets, towels, Wi-Fi connection and end-of-stay cleaning available.
The water park on this Argelès sur Mer campsite has been recently renovated, to offer you the perfect swimming area over more than 2,000 m². There is a large swimming pool, and a second one, both indoor and heated, to make the most of the delights of water in any season. The very young can have fun in the entirely new 200 m2 splash pad with water jets and water slides, whilst the more foolhardy will take a run up to the Space Racer with 81 metres of slide thrills!
Whilst the children have fun, parents can chill on their sunloungers, or have a drink on the snack bar terrace by the water park. On La Chapelle, you can also head for the Argelès sur Mer beaches laden with towels, masks and snorkels. They all have the Pavillon Bleu designation, stretching out over nearly 7 kilometres of coast in total. The nearest one is located 200 metres from the campsite. You’ll find water sports centres to hire equipment here, have sailing lessons or indulge in gliding sports, such as sea kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding.
An amazing experience by the Mediterranean Sea
The youngest holidaymakers aged 0 to 4 have an area set aside for their sensory development, with a light activity programme adapted to their pace, under the watchful eye of their parents. At the mini club, those aged 4 to 13 are split into age ranges and have the chance to take part in Olympiads, cookery classes, fashion shows, archery or even karting trips. For teenagers, there are sports tournaments, cinema workshops, beginners’ fencing and musical evenings on the menu for their stay.
Throughout the entire season, the Super Fun Station offers sports meetings (football, basketball, volleyball and handball), aquaerobics, aqua cycling, stretches and muscle stretching sessions and Zumba classes. After dinner, you can borrow board games or make the most of dance evenings, quizzes, concerts and karaoke nights organized by the campsite team.
To satisfy gourmets, La Chapelle has a hot food outlet to buy bread, sweetbreads and buns, but also pizzas, sandwiches and cold drinks. At the Buddha Bar, we’ll serve you cocktails, fruit juices, crêpes, waffles and ice cream. Your appetite satisfied, you can start to explore the region by walking in the Albera Massif (the Albères), which offers a multitude of spectacular views over the Côte Vermeille coast and the famous Pic du Canigou peak.

Don’t delay in crossing the Spanish border, to discover the charming town of Cadaqués on the Cap de Creus headland, the preserve of the painter Salvador Dali, overlooked by the magnificent Santa Maria church and well-known for its whitewashed houses, rocky coastline, art galleries and multitude of restaurants facing the sea. Then continue as far as Figueras or Barcelona, for a deeper immersion in Catalan culture!
Catalan gastronomy is a voyage through flavours, colours, the land and traditions. Numerous dishes incorporate sea food: brandade (dish made with cod, olive oil and potatoes), aïoli (mayonnaise flavoured with garlic and other ingredients) and Collioure anchovies revive the palate!
