Established in a garden of Eden, just a stone's throw from the beach, the pitches and rentals on the Les Galets campsite blend amidst tropical and Mediterranean vegetation. The lawned surface areas, ranging from 80 to 90 m² and shaded by palm trees, accommodate campers, but also guests choosing to stay in holiday rentals. Because this establishment has lots of these. There is indeed a wide range of modern, comfortable and spacious mobile homes, but also superbly equipped wooden chalets, with covered terraces enabling you to have apéritifs or meals outside sheltered from the sun.
In 2023, a new Premium area has appeared on the campsite. Consisting of high-end mobile homes with large wooded plots, they have a terrace with private spa, acacia pergola, eating area with plancha, and dishwasher and air conditioning indoors.

320 Days of sunshine per year
Argelès sur Mer is one of the most sun-drenched towns in France. With 320 days of sunshine per year, sunscreen is the indispensable accessory for your holiday in this seaside resort, whatever the season. Of course, another essential accessory is swimwear. The Les Galets campsite is only located just a stone’s throw from the sea (1.5 kilometres) and from a vast beach with a total length of 7 kilometres! Although this is the perfect place for water sports, camping residents can also make the most of the Les Galets water park to swim.
It has had a complete makeover for the beginning of the 2023 season, now extending over 2,500 m². It consists of a large swimming pool, in the form of a lagoon heated to 28°C with a Jacuzzi and massage jets, and pirate-themed paddling pool with around ten water play facilities (cannons, footbridges, pouring buckets, shark, etc.). Lastly three large water slides offer slide thrills for everyone: wide slide, Kamikaze, Aquatube slides... All in Mediterranean and lush tropical vegetation!
The water park is the genuine heart of the campsite. Besides the many water-based activities taking place here during the day (aquaerobics classes, water polo tournaments and others), at night it becomes a location for various shows and other evening entertainment. This includes the famous "Pool Party" during the high season...
A holiday in the Pays Catalan (Catalan Country)
The Camping Club Les Galets campsite enjoys a unique location. Situated in the town of Argelès sur Mer, known for being one of the most beautiful and lively beach resorts of the Côte Vermeille, a coastline of around 60 kilometres, consisting of beaches and coves extending as far as Spain, this establishment offers its guests many sightseeing opportunities in the surrounding area.
Although the seaside resorts of Port Vendres, Banyuls sur Mer and Cerbère are worth a visit, by heading for Spanish Catalonia, it is in Collioure that you should absolutely make a stop. This legendary village was home to some of the greatest artists of the last century, starting with the famous Pablo Picasso. There is also a castle and a magnificent beach overlooked by the church tower of a fortified church.
Further north, the capital of Catalan country, Perpignan, attracts a lot of tourists. With its narrow charming streets and historical heritage, this city is definitely worth a visit. Amongst the many must-sees, we include the Palace of the Kings of Majorca, the Castillet fortress, the Loge de Mer (former Maritime Exchange now an area with cafes and part of city life) and the town hall...
