Like a samba rhythm in the Languedoc Roussillon
Boasting a direct access to the beach and nestled in the heart of a green and flowery garden, 5-star campsite Le Brasilia is a paradise on Earth, located in Canet en Roussillon, in the Pyrenees Orientales. By staying here, you take the risk of never wanting to leave again...…
A garden of Eden by the sea
Member of the Yelloh! Village group, Le Brasilia is more than just a campsite. This exceptional establishment is only two steps away from the Mediterranean Sea and its beautiful sandy beach, accessible in less than a minute by taking a path through the dunes.
Le Brasilia, radiating with thousands of colours, proposes all the necessary facilities to satisfy tourists. It all starts at the reception, its refined atmosphere already gives you an idea of the quality of the stay you can spend here. Follows the Agora, copy of a village square in the South of France, dominated by a Catalan bell-tower, and surrounded by numerous shops, from the grocery store, the restaurant, and the pizzeria to the ice-cream vendor. Very normal for the South of France, fruits and vegetables are in the spotlight and their fragrance spreads all over the place. There is also a tobacco-newspaper store, a souvenir shop, a delicatessen butcher, a hairdressing salon, a wine cellar and other amenities.
Besides the leisure facilities, the rest of the campsite is taken up with pitches and holidays rentals nestled in the heart of a wooded pine forest, which is in flower. Le Brasilia offers tourists a wide range of mobile homes. These modern and comfortable rentals are spread out over various districts with evocative names: Louisianes, Sud, Creole, etc. Finally, the campsite also offers rental homes. These villas have been furnished with care and are perfectly intimate.
A holiday with the focus upon leisure and well-being
On Le Brasilia, leisure and relaxation are the watchwords. There is an ultra-modern water park, "L'Archipel” (meaning “archipelago”), the design of which appears to be inspired by tropical scenery. With its turquoise and crystal clear water, it invites you to swim, but also to relax, as the sunbathing area is equipped with many sun loungers and other areas with grass to laze in the sun.
Significantly extended in 2015, the Le Brasilia water park now extends to over more than 6,000 m². In total, 6 pools enable holidaymakers to swim and have fun. Although 2 of them are set aside for well-being (with in particular several hydromassage beds) and one for aquatic activities (aquaerobics and aqua cycling), the other 3 are solely given over to swimming and water play games. One of these 3 pools takes the form of a children’s paddling pool, with water jets and a mini-water slide. Several water slides, bridges and artificial waterfalls complete the entirety and contribute to making “L’Archipel” one of the loveliest campsite aquatic parks in France.
So as to relax, if the hydromassage benches in the water park prove insufficient, holidaymakers can also go to the “Papillon Spa”, the wellness area of the Le Brasilia campsite. You can have massages and a range of treatments, enjoying body and face treatments there, as well as the benefits of a steam room and a Jacuzzi! Peaceful and illuminated, the “Papillon Spa” is a genuine temple for relaxation and beauty.
There are also many sports facilities. Football, beach volleyball, multi-sports ground, fitness room with trendy cardio equipment, jeu-de-boules court, etc. Parents can thus sweat heavily while their children participate in the activities of the campsite's three children's clubs. Finally, in the evening, Le Brasilia proposes lots of entertainment. If this ends relatively early to make room for a quiet night, night owls can be consoled by going to the 'Brasil Club', the disco of the camping!
Trips in the Languedoc Roussillon
Staying on the Le Brasilia campsite, is also the chance to discover an area with thousands of treasures, the Languedoc Roussillon. Located in Canet en Roussillon, famous seaside resort of the Pyrenees Orientales, this campsite is only a dozen kilometres away from Perpignan, the capital of Catalan Country. This city boasts an important historical heritage, with as major attraction the Palace of the Majorca Kings.
Further South, at half an hour drive, the sublime village of Collioure is to discover without hesitation. It has hosted many painters, including the famous Pablo Picasso, all fascinated by the legendary beauty of this location, also known for its castle, its beach and the fortified church that protects the entrance to this cove.
The Étang de Leucate lies more North of the campsite, this is the ideal site for water sports especially when the strong Tramontane winds blow in this area. Finally, the Pyrenees can be quickly reached, as well as the Pic du Canigou, the highest eastern peak of this mountain range.
