An ideal setting just a stone’s throw from the seaside
Located to the south of the famous seaside resort of Le Barcarès, in the Pyrénées Orientales, the Les Tamaris campsite club accommodates holidaymakers in the heart of a green campsite, which is in bloom and barely two kilometres from the seaside. The extensive sandy beach in Le Barcarès and Etang de Leucate lagoon, where you can indulge in countless water sports, are both not far from here.
Although the setting is delightful and the location optimal, this luxury campsite in the Pyrénées Orientales saves other surprises for its holidaymakers within its 17-hectare grounds. Among them, there are 571 spacious pitches, each separated by hedgerows and densely wooded.
These plots are now all home to modern, luxury holiday rentals, with smart door locks. Modern mobile homes offering guests all the requisite qualities to feel truly at ease and relax, during a stay in Le Barcarès. Leading facilities for an active holiday
Four impressive water slides dominate this Le Barcarès campsite. The first two start at a height of 5.50 metres above the ground, whilst the other two start at an amazing 11 metres above the ground! These four water slides comprise a 30-metre aquatube slide, one 65 metres long, a Compact Slide (45 metres), as well as the Wave, a tubing slide offering maximum adrenaline for thrill-seekers.
These water slides add to the impressive water park on Les Tamaris. With more than 2,000 m² of pools, the latter enables all campsite holidaymakers to make the most of the delights of water, from April to September. It consists of a large submerged beach for the very young, anatomical benches, outdoor water garden with 3 water slides, indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzis etc. You’ll be able to make the most of a wave pool and wild river, for a guaranteed change of scenery. Thanks to the sunbathing area with sunbeds, you’ll make the most of the sunshine which drenches the region. Lastly, the Zen swimming pool is a haven of peace set aside for those over 18, for a moment of unwinding and relaxation.
Les Tamaris puts relaxation front and centre, including a wellness complex, with a beauty salon, massages, hair salon and nail bar. The campsite also offers you the MS Cocoon, a private wellness area (extra) with a sauna, spa, hydrotherapy tables and tea room.
Activities and entertainment taking place throughout the season
Among the campsite’s other facilities are a 1,000 m² children’s outdoor playground, play area for the under 3s and the Belito Club areas (open all season) and Teens Club, clubs for all ages. There is a mini golf course, tennis courts, gym, padel tennis court, boules court, multi-sports grounds, beach volleyball court and Mölkky (a Finnish throwing game)!

The team is present on-site from 10 a.m. to midnight and its main goal is to entertain holidaymakers with recreational, sports and creative activities throughout the entire day. In the evening, this dynamic and cheerful team is also here to take part in shows and evening entertainment on the campsite.
