A exceptional campsite in Port en Bessin

Settled within a beautifully landscaped property, some hundred meters from the English Channel, this outdoor establishment proposes many facilities, pitches and accommodations to satisfy tourists wishing to stay in the region and discover the most famous places of the Normandy landings.
Thus, it is possible to install your tent, caravan or camper on pleasantly flowered and green pitches, ranging in size from 70 to 100 m² for the smallest and from 150 to 200 m² for the largest. As for the mobile homes, they are just as varied and every range carries the name of one of the landing beaches!
Port'Land also has a very uncommon district; the fishing-village. This is a group of 10 luxury mobile homes of which the design remembers the Norman fisherman's huts and which are implanted around a charming pond, ideal for fishing!
Green nature in front of the beach
Besides these rentals and the pitches in the middle of a perfectly maintained park, this luxury campsite of the Calvados provides several high-end facilities, like its two water parks.
One of these is covered and heated up to 28° C and includes a large swimming pool and a small pool. The other one is outdoors and includes two additional pools, also heated, a children's paddling pool, with water jets and mini slides, and a large water slide and two toboggans.
Furthermore, in addition to the aforementioned pond, the campsite has three other water bodies allowing fishers to indulge in their passion and beginners to discover this sport. They can also buy the necessary equipment in the supermarket of Port'Land!
The Calvados, stronghold of the Normandy landings

The Calvados coast and more broadly the coast of Basse Normandie boasts many historical sites, museums and cemeteries associated with this famous day of June 6th, 1944. This day marked the beginning of the Allied reconquest in continental Europe during the Second World War.
The campsite Port'Land is located less than 5 km from the beach of Omaha Beach, one of the five D-Day beaches together with Juno, Gold, Utah and Sword Beach. Nearby we find one of the most important American cemeteries.
