A campsite in the heart of nature
This luxury campsite in Aveyron is set in 15-hectare grounds on the shores of Lac de Maury, also known as Lac de la Selves or Lac de Saint Amants des Côts, an artificial reservoir transformed over the years into a fully-fledged water sports centre. The campsite has an enchanting setting, nestling in a haven of greenery with nature ever present.
This offers 2 types of accommodation: fully equipped Ecolodge tents, as well as mobile homes with accommodation capacities for up to 6 people. Such tents and mobile homes have a fully equipped kitchen and individual bedrooms. Moreover, there are 3 ranges of mobile homes on the Domaine des Tours campsite; Premium, the most high-end and equipped with air conditioning, the Cosy range and the Relax range.
This outdoor establishment also offers spacious pitches. Some of them are lucky in being located by the lake and offer campers a magnificent view over the lake. Each pitch has a certain intimacy thanks to the surrounding trees and shrubs separating them from each other.
On-site, the Domaine des Tours makes available to campers a bar, a restaurant and snack bar-take away service. There is also a grocery area, Wi-Fi coverage as well as a launderette with washing machines and dryers on-site. Lastly, campers can hire barbecues at reception.
For a stay by the water
This 4-star campsite in Aubrac has a superb water park comprised of a 625 m² heated swimming pool, a 40 m² paddling pool, a wild river and several water slides enabling the enjoyment, irrespective of age of not only children but adults as well.
Many sports activities are also proposed, like basketball, volleyball, ping pong, jeu-de-boules or even tennis. All access to these sports is completely free of charge. Aquagym and jogging sessions are also organised by the sports team of Les Tours.
The campsite's wellness centre brings together, over 160 m², a Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, massage rooms and body and face treatment area. Qualified beauticians are on hand to enable holidaymakers to relax and feel good.
The Lake also proposes many leisure activities, starting with its sandy beach allowing to laze under the sun of the Aveyron, to enter the water to go swimming in a safe way, or even to put canoes and paddle boats into the water. A little bit further away, taking the direction of the South of the Department, the Millau Viaduct is a masterpiece of modern architecture. Its pillars make it today the highest viaduct in the world. Other tourist sights around the Aveyron campsite, include the Assier Castle, the town of Aurillac or even the gorges of the Truyère.
