The waters of the Garonne river, which has its source in the Spanish Pyrenees, flow peacefully below the campsite. The latter is itself crossed by a stream, the current of which also operates a seventeenth century mill. This provides additional character to the location, which is situated well away from all traffic and perfectly shaded. In the distance, the hills of the Pre-Pyrenees, also known by the name of the “Pyrenean Foothills”, stretch out as far as the eye can see. Although there is no shortage of space, Le Moulin remains a campsite with a human dimension. You feel good there, there is a warm welcome and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a family. Everyone’s privacy is preserved here and peace is guaranteed.
Leading facilities
Laid out tastefully and maintained with care, the campsite has 99 pitches. Spacious and green, these are perfectly adapted to pitching a tent, or setting up a caravan or camper.
Other plots are occupied by the Le Moulin holiday-hire accommodation. These consist of chalets made from wood, bungalow tents, “Cotton Lodge” tents, well-being chalets with a private spa and mobile homes. Holidaymakers who wish to stay in this luxury Haute Garonne campsite are spoilt for choice. Lovers of glamping are not forgotten as you can book your stay at Le Moulin in a genuine gypsy caravan!
In 2018, Le Moulin started to accommodate e-connected chalets, which are innovative and comfortable with a photovoltaic roof, 2 bathrooms, 2 children’s mezzanine floors and increased insulation!
Irrespective of the accommodation you choose, you are guaranteed comfort and cleanliness. Likewise, so that you lack nothing during your stay, the campsite makes numerous services available to you. These include a restaurant, a bar, a grocery where you are able to buy breads and sweet breads and buns such as brioches, croissants and pains au chocolat, and Wi-Fi network access. There is also a hire service for cars, bicycles and pedal go-karts as well as other facilities.
A wide choice of recreational, sports and tourist activities
On-site and within the region, there is no shortage of activities. For example, the Le Moulin campsite has a highly delightful aquatic area, made up of a large heated swimming pool of 200 m², a balneotherapy pool with whirlpool bath, a paddling pool of 50 m² with a mini-water slide and water games, as well as a large two-lane multi-slide.
Sports enthusiasts should go to the campsite tennis court. The latter also has a volleyball court, a football pitch, a basketball hoop, an illuminated pétanque ground, table-tennis tables and an open-air fitness area. Children can have fun owing to a very large inflatable structure, a large trampoline, 2 open-air play areas with slides, swings, a couch hammock and other play activities. Moreover, in the high season a mini-club opens and organises a multitude of activities intended for the very young.
Amongst the other campsite facilities, we can mention the indoor games library with a multitude of toys, a library comprising more than 2,000 books in several languages, board games and other such items. A games room with a television, sofas, table football and other similar games completes the range of such facilities.
There is also a fishing-rod loan service, enabling those who request it to indulge in their passion in the Garonne river.
