On the Le Bois Joli campsite, you can book your plot, to set up your tent, caravan, camper or converted van here. Pitches have a surface area ranging from 80 m² to 100 m² and are located in the shade of oak., popular and chestnut trees scattered over the campsite. For increased comfort, you can also look to a Coco Sweet tent or Pagan tent with bathroom, kitchen area and timber terrace.
Lastly you can also hire a cottage here, adapted to your requirements, from the four ranges on offer: “Vintage”, “Loisirs”, “Cosy” and “Privilège”. These have a delightful view over the tropical lagoon or the so-called “savannah”, a natural area where animals in the campsite mini-farm can roam freely.
Moreover, Le Bois Joli has a water park, consisting of a covered, heated swimming pool, paddling pool and hydromassage jets, an outdoor pool with paddling pool, balneotherapy area and numerous sunloungers to make the most of the sunshine which abundantly drenches the Vendée during spring and summer. The icing on the cake: a 3,000 m² lagoon, with sand and palm trees running alongside, which will give you the impression of being on a heavenly island.

The heart of daily life on this 4-star campsite near Noirmoutier consists of a snack bar, which serves cold drinks, cocktails and lovely fortifying dishes. There is also a grocery for emergency provisions and bakery offering fresh bread and your sweetbreads and buns cooked on-site.
Here, children can have fun on the play areas with swings, climbing wall, sandpit and in the adventure park with a giant trampoline, acrobatics course and skills challenges. The educational mini-farm previously mentioned accommodates llamas, sheep, horses and zebu cows, which never fail to impress children. They can even feed the animals and have pony rides!
To let off steam and have fun with friends, ping-pong tables and pétanque courts are available to you as well as a football table and billiards. You can also do carp and roach fishing on the campsite’s lake. At the campsite reception, you can book your place to discover the “Planète Sauvage” safari park and the four worlds. These are the Cité Marine (ocean life) with the educational dolphin display, the Village de Kirikou (African bush), Sentier des Incas (South American Inca trail) and Temple de la Jungle (with jungle animals). You can also visit the “Territoire des fauves” (wildcats zone) where you’ll encounter lions, cheetahs and tigers.
One hour from the campsite, experience the Puy du Fou theme park, which will impress you with the historical shows on the Vikings, Musketeers and Romans and medieval village reconstructions. There is also the fabulous Cinéscénie show (with actors , costumes and state-of-the-art technology) and the Orgues de Feu (music and dance with historical costumes and special effects on the water). You’ll travel back in time, within the heart of a forest with hundred-year-old trees in this original location, voted the best theme park in the world.
Cross the Passage du Gois causeway to the Ile de Noirmoutier island, visit the marinas, fishing ports and salt marshes. Cover the Promenade de Souzeaux promenade which runs along the Atlantic Ocean, have a break to swim in a creek and resume your exploring up to the Maison-Phare de la Pointe des Dames lighthouse located in the Bois de la Chaize forest, and Noirmoutier castle dating back to the 9th century!
