A waterfront campsite
La Pomme de Pin lies opposite the Ile d’Yeu island, in the town of Saint Hilaire de Riez, in the Vendée. This luxury campsite enjoys a most idyllic location as, in addition to having a dune running alongside, it has direct beach access to one of the largest and most beautiful beaches on the Côte de Lumière coast, the Les Mouettes beach.
Several save paths run from the property to the beach. These paths, running through the dune strip, allow the guests of La Pomme de Pin to reach the beach quickly, without meeting any cars.
But this is not the only advantage of this 5-star campsite in Saint Hilaire de Riez. It extends over a surface area of 5 hectares, and brings together some 280 pitches, all being occupied by rental accommodation. Comfortable and well equipped, these modern cottages have a terrace and can accommodate 2 to 7 people. Amongst these, the La Pomme de Pin campsite also has the TAOS mobile homes with spa. The 31 ultra top-of-the-range cottages with a private spa and children’s playhouse enable us to accommodate families in an entirely pedestrianized landscaped park. This year, the range of holiday rentals, has once again been modernized, with new 3 and 4 flower cottages, and a new holiday rental with 2 bedrooms and 4 flowers, adapted for persons with reduced mobility.
Equipped with quality facilities
Although the La Pomme de Pin campsite has quality accommodation, its leisure facilities, and range of shops and services are equally of a high standard. Amongst these, there's a restaurant - snack-bar which has been entirely redesigned, small grocery for emergencies, bread and pastries outlet, laundry, bike hire service, tourist information at reception, Wi-Fi, etc. Also note that in the immediate vicinity of the campsite and beach, there are many other shops!
In terms of the facilities and other leisure equipment on this outdoor establishment in Saint Hilaire de Riez, we stress there is a superb water park, games room, gym, multi-sports ground, ping-pong tables, children’s playground, bouncy castle and other facilities.
The La Pomme de Pin water park has 650 m² of pools. It consists of an indoor area, within which there is a large indoor swimming pool and paddling pool, both heated. An outdoor section has a warm sandy lagoon, with a balneotherapy area and lap pool. There is also a heated paddling pool with games and water slides. We have 3 multi-slides and three large water slides (two new for 2025), with impressive dimensions, 70 metres long and 10 metres high, which enable thrill-seekers to have a whale of a time!

Holidays are made for having fun, but on the La Pomme de Pin campsite there is also the opportunity to relax and indulge yourself. To do so, nothing better than a visit to the wellness area. Guests can enjoy the sauna, hammam and Jacuzzi here, but also discover the benefits of a Shiatsu massage, general massage, reflexology and other available treatments.
It is worth knowing that a special place is set aside for the youngest holidaymakers on this establishment. The kids’ club has been expanded to offer more space for children, aiming to respectively occupy and amuse those aged 5 to 12, by offering them various fun, artistic and sports activities, etc. throughout the entire season. Moreover, the campsite has an indoor games room with a bouncy castle and play facility, and outdoor play area around the theme of the sea, for the very young. There is also an indoor area to accommodate the show stage and members of the audience.
Finally, La Pomme de Pin enjoys an idyllic beach front, but it is also an ideal starting point to explore the tourist treasures of the Vendée.
