A 200-hectare campsite where there is no shortage of space!
La Garangeoire is one of the oldest campsites of the Department. Opened in 1964, it has over the past 60 years cultivated and developed the art of well receiving its guests, which makes it today one of the best campsites in France. A deserved qualification as this campsite proposes quality services and facilities similar to luxury standards.
With its 200 acres, there's enough space. That's why the lush and shady pitches (or not, it is your choice), have impressive surfaces for an outdoor establishment. With an average of 165 m², it is indeed rare to find larger pitches.
In the middle of the property stands a house that looks like a mansion, but if you're looking for rentals, you should look on the side of the mobile homes. On the La Garangeoire campsite, you can also stay in chalets, Safari Lodges and furnished tents.
Wellness, unwinding and relaxation in the middle of nowhere
As for the facilities, the campsite has its own water park, part of which has an indoor area, so swimming is guaranteed in any season! Outdoors, the area includes a large pool, a paddling pool and a third pool with three water slides. Furthermore, all the swimming pools are heated to 26°C, regardless of the season.
Another strength of La Garangeoire is the Spa & wellness area, allowing guests to relax and pamper themselves during the holiday. This includes the ‘Spa Libellule’ with a sauna enabling you to relax, and a beauty treatment area. On the other hand, it is also possible to enjoy relaxation, yoga and fitness sessions during your stay.
Finally, also the youngest can have fun and enjoy themselves, as the campsite has a child's club, a teens club, a football school and an equestrian centre. Evening entertainment is also on the agenda during the high season.
The sun-drenched Vendée
This exceptional campsite, in the town of Saint Julien des Landes, is only about 15 kilometres from the beaches of the Côte de Lumière, the nickname given to the Vendée coastline in reference to the exceptional sunshine of this department, comparable to the south of France.
It takes only a few minutes to join the famous coastal beach resorts, including the jewels of Bretignolles sur Mer, Les Sables d'Olonne, Saint Jean de Monts and La Tranche sur Mer.
Further east, half an hour from the campsite, the great city of La Roche-sur-Yon boasts a heritage marked by the passage of Napoleon. Finally, in the north of the department is the 'Grand Park du Puy du Fou' , which is described by many as the best French amusement park.
