A high-end campsite in heavenly scenery

This luxury campsite in Charente Maritime, located south of the Courbe La Tremblade National Forest, and west of La Palmyre, in the direction of the beaches of the Atlantic Coast, has 613 spacious and shaded pitches. Some of these offer holidaymakers panoramic views over the Bonne Anse Bay, a salt water body surrounded by sandbanks, and linked to the ocean and the mouth of the Gironde by a narrow sea passage.

Since 2015, the Bonne Anse Plage campsite has been entirely converted into an open-air campsite, such that all of the pitches are at present occupied by quality rental accommodation. This outdoor establishment proposes three models of rental mobile homes: ‘Sérénité‘, ‘Bien-être‘ and ‘Essentiel‘. Modern and well-equipped, they meet all of the conditions for a great holiday by the sea.

Among the facilities of this 4-star La Palmyre campsite, there's a bar whose terrace is equipped with a giant screen, ideal for sports or media events, but also a restaurant and a pizzeria. Guests can choose between eating in or take away.

A most impressive water park

However, the leading facility of this high-end campsite, is definitely its heated water park. With an impressive surface, it includes a very large pool and a paddling pool with water slides for the youngest. As a matter of fact, huge water slides head in all directions in this first class water park. Guarded at all times and in every season, it accommodates swimming lessons and aqua-fitness sessions provided by qualified instructors.

There are also many sports facilities integrated in the landscape of this establishment. A mini-golf course, archery range, multi-sport ground, basketball and volleyball courts, ping-pong tables, petanque court, etc. A bike hire service is also open at the campsite’s reception, enabling you to ride along the coast, in the neighbouring forest or discover the area inland.

Trampolines and various play facilities are specifically for children staying on Bonne Anse Plage. Moreover, they can go to one of the three children's clubs for fun! The "Bubbles" club welcomes the 1 to 4 years old under supervision of their parents, the "pirates" club is for the 5 to 9 years old and the "barracudas" club takes care of the 10 to 14 years old.

In the evenings, performances of remarkable quality are organised by the entertainment team. Dancing, karaoke, cabaret and many other events punctuate the night in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The Bonne Anse Plage campsite enjoys an oh so perfect situation, located just a stone's throw from the ocean, and boasting quick and direct access to a fine sandy beach. Tourists staying here can make the most of indulging in idleness in the sun, have a swim, or even practice numerous nautical activities. Close to Bonne Anse Plage, there's a sailing school and a surf school! The latter even offers holidaymakers the chance to come and find them on the campsite, to go and have surfing lessons.

At low tide, the Bonne Anse Bay becomes the ideal place for fishing on foot, but also for discovering a rich nature with a remarkable flora and fauna.

Near the campsite, the opportunities to visit are plentiful. The famous Zoo of La Palmyre, the islands of Re and Oléron, the cities of Royan and La Rochelle or the old arsenal of Rochefort, the rich tourist heritage of the Charente Maritime is definitely worth a visit.
