A campsite opened in 1980
Verébleu, an outdoor establishment, opened in 1980 in the heart of the island of Oléron within the commune of Saint Georges d'Oléron, and ever since it has not stopped investing and innovating. Hence why nowadays it provides exceptional facilities and excellent holiday conditions for its guests.
176 of the 324 pitches on the establishment are still reserved to 'real' campers. These partially shaded, lawned and spacious pitches, the smallest measuring 100 m², while the largest features 280 m², are all flat and separated by landscaped hedges on three sides.
The 130 remaining pitches are covered by rental accommodations. Taking the form of cottages or mobile homes, these holiday rentals are comfortable and well equipped. They can just as well accommodate couples, as they can a family or a group of friends. In addition to these cottages and mobile homes, there are also several residences for rent at this campsite. With a surface of 37 m², they count among the most luxury accommodations on le Verébleu.
An air conditioned living, flat screen TV and seats, fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), bathroom and separate toilet, as well as three comfortable bedrooms with shutters provide extreme comfort to all the tourists staying here. Especially as these residences have a large partially covered terrace of 29 m² with barbecue, parasol, table and garden furniture.

At the heart of the island of Oléron
A genuine Le Verébleu masterpiece, its aquatic park spreads over a surface area of 2,700 m². This water park, composed of two heated pools, a huge water slide of 76 metres, a whirlpool river, a balneo area, bubble baths, waterfalls, a paddling pool with in its middle the miniature replica of the nearby Fort Boyard, will undoubtedly charm the residents. Another pool, located in another area of the campsite, is reserved for those who wish to swim in peace and quiet, far from the cries and laughter of children. It is in this pool that are organized the aquagym lessons.
These are regularly booked full, but sporty people can also work out on the multi sports ground, where volleyball, handball, basketball and badminton games are organized. Tennis courts, an archery range, a mini-golf course and pétanque courts are also amongst the Le Verébleu facilities, all of them being lit up in the evening, so you can enjoy them until late…

Off the coast of Charente Maritime
Although it is located in the heart of the island of Oléron, off the coast of the Charente Maritime department, the Le Verébleu campsite is all the same close to the coast and the tourist beaches.
