Océan Vacances only offers accommodation for hire for a stay ranging from one night to several weeks, depending on the given season! Besides comfortable cottages, this campsite to the south of Royan also offers you the chance to stay in one the fully equipped gîtes, able to accommodate 3-7 people, or in one of the bedrooms at the hotel nestling within the heart of the camping village. In addition, Ocean Vacances provides the possibility of staying in out-of-the-ordinary accommodation: the Coco Sweet rental. This includes two bedrooms, a basic kitchen area, located near the sanitary facilities where you have your own shower and toilet facilities, accessible using a key allocated to you.
This campsite’s cottages laid out in the heart of the Bois de Suzac forest, are all air-conditioned and have a private terrace. Based on their size and layout, these rentals can accommodate 2-8 people. Saint Georges de Didonne is a seaside resort located on the right bank of the Gironde estuary. The natural surroundings, as well as the coast here, favour hiking and revitalizing walks! You can admire the well-known Phare de Vallières lighthouse, do water sports, try beginners sand yachting or walk in the town centre’s pedestrian, shopping streets.
Around 15 minutes from the campsite, discover Royan, with the Ville d'Art et d'Histoire label (recognising the heritage and architectural preservation here) with five sandy beaches. This is home to magnificent seaside villas in the Belle Époque style and that of the 1950s, which give it a unique and delightful identity. Offshore, the protected island of Aix can be accessed by sea shuttle, from the Royan landing stage. To protect the outstanding and fragile natural sites, you only get about on foot, by bike or barouche (horse-drawn carriage).
