Open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., from May to September, the heated swimming pool has numerous sunbeds around it to extend these times of relaxation in the heart of nature. For the very young, the campsite has thought of everything as a heated paddling pool with a water slide and water jets is exclusively set aside for them.
This establishment regularly organizes theme evenings, during music nights offered on the restaurant’s panoramic terrace. On the menu: mussels and chips, paella, etc. For the rest of the week, come and enjoy the traditional restaurant menu including salads packed with Ardèche flavours, ravioli dishes, pizzas. For lunch on the go, plump for the snack menu. Every morning, crusty sweetbreads and buns and bread baked on-site are available at the bar. You’ll also find ice cream sundaes and cold drinks here throughout the entire day.
Children aged 6 to 12 can go to the mini club, during the summer season. The activity team offers them numerous creative and sports activities, such as team games, treasure hunts or play workshops. Chalençon is one of the area’s villages with the Plus Beaux Villages de France designation (promoting the tourist appeal of the village, which has a rich cultural heritage). Less than 15 kilometres from the campsite, this granite village is located on the Vernoux plateau. Built around the village church, the resulting maze of alleyways offers every walker amazing views over the Vercors massif, Alps and Mont Gerbier de Jonc volcanic mountain. Guided tours take place every Tuesday morning in the summer months.
Go back in time by visiting the Grotte Chauvet 2 cave. This replica of the eponymous cave is a must-see in the region. On a 29 hectare wooded site, blending the reconstructed cave and play zones, discover the secrets of Prehistory through immersive means. On the way back, stop at the Ray Pic waterfall. In the heart of the Monts d’Ardèche regional nature park, a trail cutting across the forest will lead you to the foot of the waterfall.
