A campsite with a human dimension
This is one of the best campsites in France. La Roubine, located in Vallon Pont d'Arc, on 7-hectare perfectly maintained, landscaped and wooded grounds, along the Ardèche river, is considered an exceptional outdoor establishment. With quality accommodation options, it enables holidaymakers to get closer to nature, relax and de-stress during their stay.
The camping pitches set aside for campers and their tent, caravan or camper van are spacious to say the least. Delineated by greenery and well shaded, they are all the more luxurious, as they all have an electric supply. Some of these are located by the river, enjoying a surface area of 120 m²!
The mobile homes have the benefit of being modern, functional, comfortable and well integrated into the bucolic setting of the establishment, just a stone’s throw from the main campsite attractions. What better than a stay on the La Roubine campsite to relax and unwind. The heavenly surroundings, with trees and shrubs, direct access to the river, sandy beach and facilities make it the ideal suitable place to recharge your batteries, and make the most of the benefits of the Ardèche.
There is a superb sunbathing area equipped with sunbeds, enabling everyone to indulge in idleness, but also and above all 300 m² of pools and lagoons for fun and swimming. The 100 m² paddling pool with mushrooms and mini slides, and 200 m² splash pad offer children the opportunity to enjoy the delights of water in a safe way. The entire complex is heated throughout the whole season.
Near the water park, the wellness centre on the La Roubine campsite consists of a private spa with Jacuzzi and sauna, suitable for a couple, family or group of friends. In a highly Zen atmosphere there is also a massage and beauty salon, so during the holiday you can equally look after your body and mind!
Furthermore, with the multiple playgrounds for children, mini-golf, leisure area, multi sport ground, beach volleyball pitch etc. there is no shortage of leisure and sports facilities on La Roubine. On the banks of the Ardèche river
The La Roubine campsite, located on the banks of the Ardèche river, welcomes guests, who can make the most of the completely private sandy beach to swim in the river, but also and especially set sail in canoes or kayaks. This enables them to go down the renowned eponymous gorge.
This starts a few hundred metres further downstream, after the river flows through the town of Vallon Pont d'Arc. Here, the landscape becomes more undulating and the gateway to the gorge is marked by the famous Pont d'Arc, a natural arch which spans the river, being more than 50 metres high and around 60 metres wide. This is followed by fabulous scenery, over more than ten or so kilometres, such as the Balcon des Templiers belvedere, or even the Cirque de la Madeleine cirque.
If the arch is quite naturally the emblem of Vallon Pont d'Arc, this municipality is also known to house one of the most beautiful decorated of France but also one of the oldest of the world: the Chauvet Cave. It is not open to the public, but since 2014 it is possible to visit a reconstruction.
Also note that the Ardèche boasts some of the most beautiful villages in France: Balazuc and Vogüé are both located at less than half an hour from camping La Roubine by car.
