This campsite in the Alps is equipped with a multitude of leisure facilities, including a delightful water park. This consists of two outdoor swimming pools, including one that is heated, as well as a lovely paddling pool intended for children. Children can go to the campsite playground to have fun, whilst those most fond of sports meet on the volleyball court. On-site, there is also a library and wellness area, with a sauna and steam room…You can also find at the Belledonne reception all the necessary information to discover the surrounding area, and notably complete superb hikes in the surrounding mountains!
After these various activities, the campsite bistrot welcomes you, for a well deserved break! Particularly enjoyed for its convivial atmosphere, the bistrot offers a substantial menu, ranging from the traditional and delicious Margherita pizza to the most elaborate carpaccio (raw meat or fish) and truffle mayonnaise. With its large terrace having a panoramic view over the mountains, the restaurant area on the Belledonne campsite is the must-see location of the holiday.

When sunny days arrive, numerous cycling enthusiasts take the Alpine routes by storm. To avoid any snags, this 4 star establishment offers guests the opportunity to ensure their bike is maintained, in a specialist workshop! Whilst parents peacefully make the most of a lovely walk, on the campsite children are welcome at a mini club.
Around Le Bourg d’Oisans, the possibilities for trips out in the middle of nowhere are endless! Have a walk by the Lac de Lauvitel lake to observe marmots, go out for a day’s canyoning on the Pissarde river, have a climbing lesson on the Gresse en Vercors cliffs…You can even have your first paragliding session! If you also enjoy cultural visits, be aware there are lovely museums in the region. Examples are the Musée Archéologique de Saint-Laurent archaeological museum, or the Musée de la Révolution Française French revolution museum.
Belledonne is also located near one of the most beautiful cities in France: Grenoble. Here, particularly discover the Bastille, a former military fort accessible by cable car. At a height of 264 metres, it offers a spectacular panorama over the city. In addition, Grenoble is a city with a particularly rich heritage, where there are numerous historic buildings to visit, such as the Notre-Dame cathedral, Sacré-Cœur basilica or even the Musée Dauphinois (a museum detailing regional history).
