Treumal, located in Platja d’Aro, in the municipality Castell Platja d’Aro, enjoys a numerous benefits and it is not very difficult to understand why a multitude of holidaymakers are prepared to travel across Europe to spend a few days or weeks holiday there.
Located between French Perpignan and Catalan Barcelona, Castell Platja d’Aro is a municipality divided into two parts. The first part, Castell d’Aro, accommodates the historic village, with its medieval château, its fortified church and its ancient houses. Platja d’Aro forms the second part of the municipality. A former fishing village, it is now one of the most lively and festive seaside resorts on the Costa Brava.
The Treumal campsite is located 2 kilometres from the centre of Platja d’Aro. Established at the heart of a pine forest dominating the Mediterranean the campsite has, at the foot of it, two superb sandy beaches . There are delightful steps enabling you to access the beaches without any difficulty. The first beach, Can Cristus, has a length of around 400 metres whilst the second, Cala del Forn, is smaller and its 70 metres of seafront give it the appearance of a heavenly inlet. The waters of its two beaches, which are crystal-clear and transparent, are of an exceptional cleanliness, which has earned them the European designation Pavillon Bleu! This recognises both their respect for nature and their giving out a positive image!

On-site, holidaymakers can make the most of a multitude of facilities, starting with luxury mobile homes or more out-of-the ordinary sleeper carriages. A multitude of pitches have also been laid out within a pine forest to accommodate campers and and their equipment, whether this is a tent, caravan or camper van. Lastly, for holidaymakers wishing to enjoy even more comfort, studios and and furnished bedrooms, able to accommodate 2 to 5 people, are also available for hire.
As regards services, we do everything within this luxury campsite of Platja d’Aro to meet holidaymakers’ needs and attempt to satisfy them as best as we possibly can. Thus, you are able to benefit from a multitude of tourist advice by visiting the campsite’s reception, but you can also exchange currencies, surf the Internet or even receive mail there.
There is also a supermarket on-site and holidaymakers can find a large range of local and international products there. Everything including fresh bread, but also meat, fruit and vegetables, drinks as well as newspapers and magazines, which thus fill the shelves of this shop.

Amongst the other services at the Treumal campsite, there is a medical centre open 3 days a week during the summer season, as well as a restaurant, a bar and a snack bar - takeaway. The campsite restaurant, with its terrace enjoying an exceptional view over the high seas(!), offers a varied cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Although enjoying direct and quick access to 2 superb beaches in Platja d’Aro, the Treumal campsite also has a swimming pool. Shallow, it accommodates various aquatic activities, such as aquaerobics and water games. Popular with children, this swimming pool is surrounded by a solarium where their parents can make themselves comfortable.
This top-of-the-range campsite on the Costa Brava is moreover equipped with 2 sports grounds where the Treumal entertainment team organise, during the campsite season, sports tournaments and recreational activities. Lastly, a secure area is entirely set aside for children, who can have fun by making the most of a multitude of outdoor games. Moreover, they can develop their creativity by participating in all kinds of activities organised by the campsite mini-club: painting, fancy dress, make-up sessions, and others.
