A campsite with direct access to the beach in Spain
It lies by a gulf classed amongst the most beautiful bays in the world, that of the Gulf de Roses which belongs to the famous and magnificent Costa Brava that the Spanish campsite Amfora is located. The latter enjoys one of the most heavenly locations, with direct access to the superb beach of Sant Pere Pescador, and offers its holidaymakers numerous benefits.
The campsite within which Amfora is established extends over several hectares of green and delightfully maintained grounds. On-site, there is a wide choice of pitches and mobile homes offered to holidaymakers The pitches are divided into three distinct categories, comprising standard 100 m² pitches, pitches with a surface area of between 80 and 90 m² but equipped with individual toilet and washing facilities, as well as pitches, which are even more top-of-the range. As regards holiday hire accommodation, the choice is even larger since there are nine ranges of mobile homes and chalets within this Costa Brava campsite. Comfortable and well-equipped, the latter are all equipped with a covered terrace and a table and chairs set The most comfortable of them is, without doubt, the Family Prestige mobile home, able to accommodate 7 people within a 42 m² air-conditioned living area.
Quality facilities and services by the sea
At the Amfora campsite there is a multitude of quality facilities and services offered to holiday makers. For example, there are no less than three restaurants on the campsite. The first is at the heart of the campsite is opposite the aquatic park. Close to the latter, a snack bar makes it possible to respond to every little pang of hunger and to order dishes to either eat on-site or to take away.
The second restaurant is called Tropic Beach. As its name indicates, it is located by the sea and opposite the Sant Pere Pescador beach. Its menu includes numerous regional specialities and the chef is renowned for his succulent grills. Lastly, the third restaurant is at the entrance to the campsite. It is called Le Jardinet de Sant Père, and it offers holidaymakers total immersion in Mediterranean cuisine!
Amongst the other shops and services on the site, there is a 600 m² supermarket, a shop selling newspapers and magazines, a doctor's surgery, two launderettes and other facilities. In relation to leisure activities, Amfora is far from lacking since the latter has a range of sports and recreational facilities to appeal to holidaymakers.
These include a football ground, a basketball court and a third dedicated to volleyball, a city stadium, an area for playing boules, a mini-golf course, several tennis courts and table tennis tables and other sports facilities.
The very young have an actual miniature amusement park in which to have fun! The Park Amfi, yes that is its name, is an incredible 700 m² leisure area equipped with numerous recreational attractions: a rope bridge, trampolines, sack races, a tree-level adventure assault course and other amusements. There is plenty to amuse thrill seekers!
The Challenge Park is a play and sports obstacle course, open to those over 12. The circuit has seven obstacles, each more insane and fun than the others, and which simply guarantee moments of genuine hysterics with your family or friends.
Moreover for those wishing to stay in shape during their stay on the Costa Brava, various activities are offered by the campsite activity team. These include Zumba, Aqua Zumba, aquaerobics, stretching, yoga, dance or even spinning. This is an excellent means to burn calories; this new concept combines rhythmic music and cardio training on exercise bikes!

The other facility installed at Amfora is the aquatic park. Among the largest and most impressive on the entire Costa Brava, this consists of vast swimming pools, a children’s fun water play pool, balneotherapy pool with hydromassage jets and Jacuzzis, and five breathtaking water slides!
Moreover well-being is at the heart of this Spanish campsite's priorities in terms of facilities and there is also a relaxation area on the campsite. Inside, an entire range of massages and treatments may be lavished upon you by a qualified professional.
Once relaxed, holiday makers may easily amuse themselves and join in various recreational activities offered by the team of Amfora activity leaders, who are multilingual and indeed could not be more dynamic in their approach! The very young are not forgotten either as an Amfi-club offers them numerous workshops specially adapted to their needs!
In the evenings, entertainments succeed one another in a warm atmosphere, which oozes holidays! Peace, once again, returns after midnight and revellers wishing to prolong the pleasure until the end of the night can join the discotheque, located a stone's throw from the campsite.
Lastly, by staying at the Amfora campsite in Sant Pere Pescador, holidaymakers have the chance to go out and discover the numerous treasures which pepper the Catalan region. The latter include the Parc Naturel d’Aiguamolls (Catalonia's second largest nature park), the famous seaside resort of Cadaquès, so appreciated by Dali (the Catalan surrealist painter), the cities of Barcelona and Figueres, the Greek and Roman ruins in Empuries or even the tourist resort of L’Escala.
