Staying on a high-end campsite in Catalonia
All throughout your stay, a rich and varied activity programme is on offer for you. Las Palmeras Costa Brava has a lovely restaurant area enjoyed by holidaymakers. Notably, traditional dishes are served there, such as Pan Con Tomate (Spanish grillled bread with tomato), paella or even patatas bravas (fried potatoes with spicy sauce)! The restaurant also offers a menu specially given over to takeaways with salads, pizzas, chicken and hamburgers. If you’d like to buy products which are iconic of Catalan cuisine, go to the campsite’s mini market.
Go off to visit the area around Sant Pere Pescador by bike. You can do this as several mountain biking routes, suitable for everyone’s tastes and level, pass near the campsite. On-site you can get hold of a GPS enabling you to follow the given route and hire bikes or mountain bikes, to go along the Costa Brava! If you aren’t a cycling enthusiast, you should know that bus excursions are regularly planned from the campsite.
The location of this outdoor establishment offers holidaymakers the chance to go out and explore Girona, one of Catalonia’s largest cities. The city is particularly acknowledged and enjoyed for its historic centre but also its delightful colourful facades, reflecting onto the Onyar river. Here, a large cathedral, art museum, typical bars and stone walls are on the menu for your visit!
