The campsite is located less than 15 minutes from a metro station (the underground rapid transit system) taking you straight to the city centre!
Spacious and bright accommodation, divided into three categories, ranging from the standard bungalow to the luxurious suite, is spread over the entire campsite. These charming timber chalets are equipped with very comfortable mattresses, a very cosy lounge area as well as a functional work area with an office and free Internet access. Not forgetting the modern and practical bathroom. Each bungalow has two parking spaces, where guests can leave their vehicle. There are also shaded pitches to accommodate tents, caravans and campers.

Make the most of the large outdoor pool, to cool down at any time of day. This vast pool, nestling on the campsite, is only open during the high season. Around the swimming pool, the sunbathing area is equipped with numerous sunloungers. You can bask in the sunshine, whilst watching your young children having fun in the water! Children can also play wild football games, with two goals having been set out near the swimming pool.
For your meals, the campsite has several catering areas which spotlight world cuisine: the lakeside restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine and a highly delightful terrace, to chill out with a drink in your hand. The gourmet restaurant, which offers a more refined menu with local produce, is guaranteed to make your mouth water: duck confit croquettes, grilled octopus (cooked in garlic), Iberian pork cheeks with pumpkin puree...Those most fond of food will be delighted to take advantage of the breakfast option on offer at the restaurant. Several sweet and savoury options are on the menu. For lunch on the go, the campsite also offers fast food.
Numerous activities are on offer on the La Cigüeña campsite. On the programme are padel tennis, hiking near the campsite complex, cycle touring, canoe trips, powered paragliding, fishing in the campsite lake, archery…These activities, whether taking place in a group, as a family or couple require a prior booking.
Perfect to visit Madrid and the surrounding area
During your stay in Arganda Del Rey, stop in the magnificent town of Aranjuez. Located south of Madrid, this destination has been designated a UNESCO “cultural landscape” (highlighting the relationships between nature and Man) particularly for the large, majestic gardens, yet not forgetting the spectacular historic buildings, such as the impressive royal palace. The historic centre is also worth seeing, owing to the San Antonio royal church or the Medinaceli palace. To stock up on local produce and products, don’t miss the Abastos indoor market with fresh fruit and vegetable stalls. Continue your walk through the town and stop at the Plaza de Toros. This arena, dating back to the 18th century, saves an authentic visit on the history of bullfighting for you.

Test your limits in the Batman Gotham City Escape attraction, a roller coaster inspired by the famous Batmobile which travels at high speed! With backdrops worthy of Hollywood, the park is organized into five themed areas, putting the spotlight on cinema through the ages. To get over your emotions, numerous shows are on offer throughout the entire day. If you prefer splashing around in the water, the Warner park is enhanced by a water park, with various attractions for all the family.
Renowned for being a cosmopolitan city, Madrid is also acknowledged for the majestic architecture and remarkable gastronomy. Culture lovers will be delighted to discover or rediscover the history of this capital in the city’s best museums (Prado, Reina Sofia, etc.).
