A holiday under the sun of the Bay of Pont Mahe...
There's nothing greater than a stay on 4-star campsite Le Moulin de l'Eclis to relax, empty your head and enjoy a holiday in southern Brittany.
Campers can be on a sunny or a shady pitch, as they wish, in the knowledge that some 15 pitches are located opposite the beach and thus enjoy panoramic ocean views. Nearby we find "la Maison d'Eau" (the House of Water), a luxury sanitary block, fully automatized for a perfect cleanliness throughout the season.
With regard to the accommodations they are located a bit further from the sea. The many facilities of this luxury campsite of the Loire Atlantique. are installed around these rentals. Including a bar, a snack as well as a grocery store selling every morning fresh baked breads and other pastries.
Beach access which could not be more direct
Enjoying the optimal situation of this campsite, guests can go directly to the Pont Mahé beach without having to take or cross a road, a pledge of safety for children wishing to go and play in the sand without being accompanied by their parents. Like this beach, the campsite's water park is also an important place where you can indulge in relaxing, having fun and swimming.
This water park consists of a heated part, that can be covered whenever needed, and an outdoor area. The outdoor area has a swimming pool, a relaxation pool, an upstream river, a water slide and two toboggans. There is also a humidifier and an artificial waterfall to the delight of the youngest kids.
The indoor part includes a swimming pool, an upstream pool to swim against the tide, a fun paddling pool with mini slides, small waterfalls, a bell and a water cannon. This campsite by the sea is an ideal base to discover the treasures of the Côte des Mégalithes and the Côte d'Amour. The mouth of the Vilaine River separates these two in Arzal, a few kilometres North of Assérac.
Among these treasures, the beach of la Mine d'Or in Pénestin, considered as one of the most beautiful beaches of Brittany, is a must-see site recommended to all guests of le Moulin de l'Eclis, even if the campsite has a direct access to the beach in Pont Mahé.
South of this municipality, the city of Guérande where you can visit the famous salt marshes. It has an important historic heritage, starting with its walls which entirely surround the town centre, making it one of France’s rare walled towns still in existence…
The Le Croisic peninsula, including the wild coast extending as far as Le Pouliguen beach, should be discovered as well that of La Baule, Europe’s largest beach and also considered one of the most beautiful the Old Continent has to offer.
A few kilometres from campsite Le Moulin de l'Eclis, you can visit the remains of the castle of Ranrouët standing in the community of Herbignac. Let's not forget the regional Nature Park of Brière, second largest swamp area of France, crossed by many channels. You can visit these by taking a bark!
