A campsite by the Verdon river

The Les Gorges de Provence campsite occupies a lush campsite on the banks of the Verdon river. Under the pine forest, various types of holiday rental accommodation are available, such as the cottages in the Ultimate, Premium, Confort (Comfort) or Classic ranges, which enable us to meet all needs and budgets. Comprising two, three or four bedrooms, so as to accommodate couples and large families in equal measure, they are air-conditioned to sleep in the cool, even in the heart of summer. The Ultimate cottages even have a private Jacuzzi on the terrace. Camping “Robinson Crusoes” can stay in a Safari-style lodge tent!

This consists of a large rectangular swimming pool, perfect for doing lengths, children’s paddling pool and balneotherapy pool to relax. Furthermore, two thrill-seeker water slides complete this water park. Moreover, for even more unwinding and relaxation, Les Gorges de Provence has a wellness area equipped with a sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi, even offering body treatments and massages.

As regards activities, there will be something for everyone: stretching the muscles, fitness, yoga and aquaerobics for enthusiasts of gentle activities. Tennis, volleyball, basketball and football for sports enthusiasts. Not forgetting Zumba classes and pétanque, ping-pong and badminton games. The campsite activity leaders also organise sports tournaments, pool games, dance evenings and shows throughout the season.

Happiness at your fingertips in Provence

Children can make the most of all the recreational facilities on-site and go to the mini-clubs set aside for those aged 4 to 6 and 7 to 10. On the programme for your holiday, there are multiple games, creative leisure activities and sports tournaments, under the watchful eye of the campsite mascot. Even teenagers aged 11 to 13 can meet up for activities and trips out specially intended for them.

On the Les Gorges de Provence campsite, a small grocery and bread outlet enable holidaymakers to go shopping without needing to take their car. Likewise, the campsite restaurant enables you to enjoy delicious meals to eat in the restaurant, on the restaurant terrace or take away. Every morning, you can read your newspaper, whilst drinking a coffee on the bar terrace or meet up with friends for cocktail hour!

Wi-Fi is available for free over the entire site. Near the campsite, numerous tourist, recreational and sports activities are on offer for holidaymakers; stand-up paddle boarding, electric boats and of course canoeing, the perfect way to meander through the waters of the Verdon gorges, whilst admiring the spectacular landscape. For even more thrills, canyoning, rafting and hydrospeed also take place in the region, as well as paragliding. An unusual way to discover the most beautiful and largest canyon in Europe!

An exceptional region with numerous treasures

Around the campsite, holidaymakers can explore a region with a wealth of natural exceptional sites, delightful villages, cultural events and recreational activities. The region is a hikers’ paradise, with marked trails, offering a fantastic view over the Verdon river.

A few kilometres from Montagnac-Montpezat, the medieval town of Gréoux-les-Bains leaves nobody unmoved with the alleyways and paved lanes, typical of Provençal architecture, thermal spas and castle dating back to the Middle Ages. All around here, lavender, olive tree and wheat fields stretch as far as the eye can see, enriching the valley in multitudes of colours with the passing seasons.

The Cascade de Sillans waterfall offers both a naturally impressive show, and a peaceful setting for a trip on the water. Lastly, a stay on the Les Gorges de Provence campsite enables you to stock up on regional produce and products in local markets or directly from producers. Provence is renowned for its olive oil, honey, truffles or even wines!
