La Presqu'île is ideally located in Prunières, in the Hautes Alpes department. This 11 hectare campsite runs alongside the famous Lac de Serre-Ponçon lake, and the grounds laid out in terraces enable holidaymakers to enjoy a breathtaking view over this lake and surrounding mountains, notably the Pic de Morgon summit and Aiguilles de Chabrières mountain. Moreover, this establishment which has held the Green Key eco-label since January 2024, in recognition of the initiatives it has successfully implemented to protect the environment, and offer more sustainable and responsible tourism.
La Presqu'île has a varied range of luxury accommodation, nestling within an idyllic, relaxing setting. This haven of peace offers three ranges of holiday rentals designated “Confort” (Comfort), “Prestige” and “Luxe” (Luxury), as well as around 100 pitches for tents, caravans and campers, some equipped with private sanitary facilities. The “Sunêlia Prestige Living” mobile home for four people, offers an exceptional view over the heavenly waters of the lake... Nature lovers can also opt for a stay in a timber chalet, both authentic and comfortable, or have a “Glamping” experience, in an ecolodge combining charm, appeal and respect for the environment.
The “Toues Cabanées” holiday rentals on the campsite, located in the Baie de Foreston creek on the Lac de Serre-Ponçon, offer a unique and immersive stay experience in “slow tourism” mode in the Hautes Alpes region. These traditional floating cabins, inspired by the boats on the Loire river are moored in a creek, offering all-round views over the lake. They have their own small craft and two stand-up paddle boards, enabling you to move around the lake and get back to the shore. Each flat-bottomed barge can accommodate up to 5 people and is fully equipped, having bedrooms, bathroom, lounge living area, kitchenette, toilet and terrace with a garden furniture set and plancha. This unusual floating accommodation holds the eco-label and is energy self-sufficient.

The campsite water park includes a 300 m² outdoor swimming pool and paddling pool for the very young, within a magnificent backdrop, the Pic du Grand Morgon summit towering above it. This campsite in the Hautes Alpes also has a private beach, laid out by the Lac de Serre-Ponçon. The beach, laid to lawn, is split into various zones, including a slipway for boats, dedicated water sports area, such as paddle boarding and canoeing, and a safe swimming zone.
For your taste buds, the campsite offers two catering areas: the “Les Pieds dans l'Eau” snack bar – restaurant, which offers traditional cuisine made from fresh, seasonal and local produce. You can have your meal as a takeaway or sit down on the terrace, and make the most of the panoramic view over the Lac de Serre-Ponçon lake. On the other side of the lake in the Baie de Foreston inlet, you’ll reach the “La Paillotte du Lac” secret creek, a convivial location for something to eat and making the most of the sunshine in a relaxed atmosphere.
La Presqu'île offers varied services and activities, to guarantee an unforgettable holiday for young and old alike. The Sunny Club, open every morning in the high season, accommodates children aged 5 to 12 for a programme of creative and sports activities. Calling all nature lovers – this land is made for you! The GR 50 awaits you for unforgettable hikes, where every step brings you ever nearer to breathtaking landscapes. See the local fauna, listen to the song of the cicadas, breathe the pure mountain air! Here the trails meander between gorges and summits... The region abounds in architectural treasures to explore. Go off to discover the Notre Dame de Boscodon abbey in Crots, a genuine 12th century gem nestling in a green setting, and the Notre-Dame du Réal cathedral in Embrun.
Some 20 kilometres from the campsite, visit Gap and the streets with pastel hues. lively squares and the historic buildings (with the Monument Historique designation) such as the cathedral, Chapelle des Pénitents chapel and town hall. Wherever you wander, you can admire the Chanteloube viaduct, Picomtal castle or even the ramparts designed by Vauban in the town of Briançon, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The birds of prey, marmot squirrels and various foxes in the Sauze du Lac wildlife park also offer children unforgettable memories!
