Although the village of Bormes les Mimosas is often likened to a Provençal nativity scene, the Camp du Domaine is more akin to a Mediterranean Eden... Nestled in the heart of a 45-acres pine forest on the hill of La Favière, one of the two beach resorts of Bormes les Mimosas (the other one being Lavandou), this exceptional campsite benefits from a beautiful environment to receive its guests.
Besides providing space and greenery to its residents, le Camp du Domaine has another important asset. A sandy beach of several hundreds of metres stretches at its feet, from the Marina of La Favière to the edge of the Ris. So from your rental pitch it only takes a few steps to reach the clear and turquoise water of the Mediterranean Sea.
Well thought out, these pitches – whether for tents, caravans, campers or holiday rentals – have been laid out, in the main, to offer a sea view, along with enough space to ensure privacy. You won’t disturb your neighbours, nor be disturbed yourself...unless, of course, by the soothing song of the cicadas...
An idyllic holiday setting on the French Riviera
Although the beach running alongside this Bormes les Mimosas campsite attracts holidaymakers like a magnet, they can also make the most of numerous facilities and activities on Camp du Domaine to have fun and play sports.
For all things exercise, there are six tennis courts, two multi-sport grounds, including turf pitches and hard courts, an archery range, pétanque courts and more. Moreover, the campsite offers fitness, step and salsa classes, tennis lessons and organizes volleyball tournaments. Water sports are also an important part since it is possible to rent surfboards and you can practice water skiing, diving or sailing directly from the beach.
Even if all these activities are reserved to adults and adolescents, children are not forgotten. A mini-club entertains the 8 to 12 years old under the gaze of qualified and motivated youth leaders.
Since 2018, Camp du Domaine has also had its own wellness and fitness area. A modern and cosy location, where holidaymakers can also make the most of a steam room, a sauna, massage cubicles and other facilities. Ideal to relax and feel good during your stay on the Côte d'Azur!
A dream stay in Bormes les Mimosas
Tourists staying at the Camp du Domaine campsite enjoy an ideal location to discover the treasures of the Var, starting with those of the Côte d'Azur. Though the beach bordering the campsite looks like paradise, it is far from being the only one along the Riviera Coast.
From the campsite, it is possible to follow different footpaths along the coast and access to the beautiful Bay of the Gau, or to the coves (calanques) that extend until the famous Fort of Brégançon, a few kilometres from the village of La Favière.
Furthermore le Camp du Domaine organised excursions by minibus to visit Monaco, Grasse or Saint Tropez or even the Calanques of Cassis. Finally, facing the campsite, the golden Islands of Port Cros are waiting to be discovered. Simply take the boat in Hyères, a seaside resort located at 20 km from the campsite.
