Staying on this campsite on the Giens Peninsula, in Hyères les Palmiers, is to treat yourself to the opportunity to discover the wonders of the Côte d’Azur. Although the Hyères salt marshes are just a stone’s throw from the campsite, other exceptional tourist and natural sites are in the vicinity.
This is accessible by boat from the Hyères marina. A multitude of shuttle boats operate the crossing between the mainland and Porquerolles, enabling those intrigued to discover and make the most of the wonders of this island, for an afternoon or entire day. Amongst the treasures of Porquerolles is notably the Notre-Dame beach. Stretching out over an area of nearly 800 metres, it is considered the most beautiful beach in Europe!
Returning to the mainland, you will be able to make the most of the central position of the campsite on the Côte d’Azur to tour along its coastline, discovering its legendary beaches, ports and remarkable gardens. From Hyères, you will also be able to go to the Var hinterland, home to some of the loveliest villages in Provence, gastronomic markets and exceptional landscapes!
