Established within a 3.5 hectare pine forest in the village of Le Pradet, the L’Artaudois campsite is a genuine haven of peace. Maritime pines, eucalypti, mimosa trees and oleanders, their full range of scents and colours on display here, resulting in a Mediterranean atmosphere, which favours relaxation and recharging your batteries.
By staying here, you not only make the most of the location’s tranquillity but also the immediate vicinity of hidden creeks and family-friendly beaches. Examples are the Plage de la Garonne or Plage du Monaco, just a few minutes away whether on foot or by bike. The shaded pitches on this establishment accommodate tents, caravans, converted vans and motorhomes. At the same time, there is a wide range of new, well-equipped mobile homes and out-of-the-ordinary accommodation on the campsite. Hence everyone will find their perfect stay here.

The L’Artaudois campsite cultivates a simple friendly way of life, in surroundings where young and old alike will quickly feel at home. The aqua park with a swimming pool, paddling pool and sunbathing area is the beating heart of the campsite. Here you can switch between refreshing swims, idleness in the sunshine and games with the family. It is open from 1st May to 30th September.
For the more energetic amongst you, there is a multi-sports ground, where you can play volleyball, badminton or football, ping-pong tables, and a well-lit area for playing boules open until 11.30 p..m. An outdoor fitness area, archery range and children’s games room are on hand. During the high season, activities punctuate your days and evenings; creative workshops at the kids club, aqua aerobics, sea kayaking/paddle boarding trips, sports tournaments, outdoor concerts or theme nights.
Facilities here include the campsite bar – restaurant (open from 1st May to 30th September), which offers a varied menu; home-made pizzas, fresh salads, handmade ice cream...Plenty to tickle your taste buds, after a fun-packed day in the Var sunshine! In the restaurant, you can also buy fresh bread and sweet breads and buns every morning (reserve them the day before for next-day availability). Lastly, worth knowing you can hire bikes (pedal cycles and e-bikes) at the campsite entrance!
Between Sanary sur Mer and Hyères, an entire coastline awaits your discovery
Ideally located, the L’Artaudois campsite proves the perfect starting point to discover the gems of the Var coastline. Le Pradet, having beaches, creeks and coastal paths, this is the Côte d’Azur in abundance!
A few kilometres from the campsite, the Giens Peninsula, L’Almanarre beaches, or even the Iles d’Hyères islands (including Porquerolles and Port-Cros) offer breathtaking landscapes. Hiking lovers can enjoy the views over the Colle Noire massif natural area (part of the Port Cros National Park), or walks on the coastal path. At the same time, culture buffs can visit Toulon; the harbour, museums and renowned Mont Faron cable car.
Around 30 minutes from L’Artaudois, Sanary sur Mer showcases the most authentic elements of Mediterranean port life. With colourful Latin sailing and fishing boats known as ‘pointus’, the typically Provençal market voted amongst the best in France and alleyways in bloom, these mild sun-drenched surroundings enhance this small seaside town’s appeal. You’ll quite happily stroll by the sea here, amongst lively terraces and local produce stalls, before making the most of the family-friendly beaches, or putting to sea on a boat trip off the Mediterranean rocky inlets (known locally as ‘calanques’). In the 1930s, a creative refuge for numerous artists and writers then in exile, Sanary also cultivates a rich cultural heritage with museums, exhibitions and events, taking place throughout the year. A must-see detour for those staying in the Var!
