This outdoor establishment welcomes you in Les Issambres, the seaside district on the protected coastline in Roquebrune sur Argens, lying between the towns of Fréjus and Saint Raphaël, and Sainte Maxime, around 20 minutes by boat from Saint Tropez. Opposite the lovely La Gaillarde beach, this establishment stretches over a lush campsite of seven hectares.
There are around 100 holiday rentals here and almost as many pitches to accommodate tents, caravans, vans and camper vans. These lodges and plots are perfectly integrated into the setting’s natural surroundings. The campsite, holding the Green Key designation since 2020, is highly aware of the need to protect the natural setting and ecosystem in the grounds. Moreover, to guarantee the harmonious development of its activities, numerous initiatives and strategies have been implemented in recent years, making the Paradis des Campeurs a genuine eco-friendly campsite.

Luxurious holiday rentals some having a view over the Mediterranean
The accommodation in the Luxe Méditerranée lodge range is the most luxurious on the campsite. Besides the private swimming pool, it has a 61 m² living area, 100 to 120 m² terrace with an unrestricted sea view over the Mediterranean and can accommodate 2 to 8 people! The Lodge Luxe Océan (with sea view), and Lodge Spa 2 or 3 bedrooms lodge ranges, with a spa/Nordic bath located on their terrace, enable occupants to relax at any time of day!
There are three types of camping and caravanning pitches. The standard pitches, with a surface area ranging from 60 to 80 m², have a 6 amp electrical connection. The comfort pitches, with a similar surface area, in addition have an electrical connection with the same power output, private drinking water fountain and sewage disposal connection. Lastly the luxury pitches with a surface area of 100 to 130 m², have a private drinking water fountain, sewage disposal connection and 10 amp electrical connection.
In respect of the services offered by this Côte d’Azur establishment, be aware that on-site you’ll be able to make the most of a Wi-Fi connection (upon payment of a supplement), bar and restaurant, snack bar, grocery (these shops are open from April to October). There is a bread and sweet breads and buns service available year-round, laundry, children’s play area, and camper van sewage disposal area.
On the campsite, you can hire stand-up paddle boards and bikes (non-electric pedal cycles and e-bikes). Trails partly used for cycling leave either side of the campsite, heading for Fréjus or Saint Tropez.

There are numerous advantages of staying on Au Paradis des Campeurs. Make the most of the location to discover Les Issambres and the surrounding area, starting with the magnificent coastline, concealing numerous beaches and wild creeks, perfect for swimming and snorkelling (the Les Actinies beach, in particular, abounds in marine treasures to see!). The La Gaillarde and San Peïre beaches are perfect for families, all the more so as swimming is supervised by lifeguards during summer. You can also do various water sports near the campsite.
For lovers of nature and hiking, you’re spoilt for choice from the campsite. The Var’s Sentier des Douaniers coastal path enables you to discover the coast at your own pace, with the beaches, wild creeks and rocky inlets, all lovely in equal measure! This footpath is here and there hewn into the rock, so we recommend kitting yourself out with strong shoes before taking it! Strong shoes will also prove practical if you choose to hike in the hills of the Vallon de la Gaillarde (a protected natural site), whose summits offer spectacular viewpoints over the Gulf of Saint Tropez, and the Iles d’Or islands. Hardly much further on, the Blavet gorges and Estérel massif, renowned for their red rocks are additional must-see hiking spots.
Lastly, for those wishing to discover the heritage of the surrounding area, you can visit several towns and villages with Provencal charm. Both on the coast, such as Gassin, Ramatuelle, Port Grimaud or Saint Tropez, and inland such as Tourrettes, Cotignac or even Châteaudouble. Lastly, for lovers of excellent local produce, a weekly Provençal market takes place in Les Issambres, perfect for stocking up on Provence wines, olive oil, cheeses and many other traditional specialities.
