A magical setting between the Iroise Sea and Breton heathland
The Le Domaine de Ker’Ys campsite occupies grounds enjoying an exceptional location in Saint Nic, between the Iroise Sea (part of the Atlantic Ocean) and Breton heathland. It is opposite the superb Pentrez beach, an impressive stretch of sand, where you can equally do sailing and sand-yachting, swimming and idleness! The Crozon peninsula is nearby, and the campsite is almost equidistant between Brest and Quimper!
On-site, holidaymakers can make the most of the numerous attractions on this campsite in the Baie de Douarnenez, starting with the water park, this having been recently renovated. It consists of a large, heated outdoor swimming pool, 4-lane multi-slide, paddling pooL with mushroom sprinkler to the delight of the very young and Jacuzzi for adults.
Some of the holiday rentals available for hire on this establishment have air-conditioning. They are designed so as to accommodate 2, 4 or 6 persons. They all have an open kitchen in the living area, bathroom, 2 or 3 bedrooms and shaded outdoor terrace.

Outside the water park, there are also various sports and leisure facilities on the campsite, starting with the air-conditioned cardio-training area, enabling holidaymakers to undertake all forms of physical exercise. Please note that fitness classes are provided twice a week during the summer. The swimming pool accommodates aquagym sessions and swimming lessons (with a charge) provided by a swimming instructor.
The children’s club welcomes children aged 6 to 11. Craft, play and sports activities are on offer here, as well as preparing for a show and unforgettable treasure hunts. Trips to the beach are also on the programme to collect shellfish, go shrimp fishing and build sandcastles. The Domaine de Ker’Ys also has a play area with a slide and inflatable facility.
Lastly, you can also play football, volleyball and basketball on this establishment, as well as table tennis and pétanque. To extend the pleasure, hog roast or Breton crêpe evenings, karaoke nights, concerts and dance evenings take place during the summer!
Discovering the Crozon Peninsula and Finistère
Around the campsite, the Baie de Douarnenez abounds in numerous treasures. Even in Saint Nic, holidaymakers can make the most of the large sandy beach, hiking trails running along the wild coast, and historic buildings such as the Saint-Nicaise parish church and the Saint-Côme et Saint-Damien chapel. During the summer, the town also accommodates a local producers market!
Barely much further, we recommend you admire the splendid views and wild landscapes of the Crozon Peninsula and the islands of Molène and Ouessant. You can also discover the old port in the town of Douarnenez, the Caraïen watermills, Pointe du Raz spur (a conservation area) and numerous lighthouses running along the coast, when staying on the Domaine de ker’Ys campsite.
Lastly, holidaymakers can make the most of their stay in Finistère to enjoy Breton gastronomy and seafood. Those with a sweet tooth cannot miss the chance to enjoy a Kouign Amann sweet butter pastry, salted butter caramel and crêpes!
