One of the loveliest water parks in Brittany
As these are plentiful, starting with the water park, the dimensions of which are impressive. It is composed of an “indoor” area, with a swimming pool, paddling pool and whirlpool, and a vast outdoor area. It features a pool that can be covered and that is reserved for swimming, water aerobics, water polo, and diving baptisms. On the other hand, there is also a 480 m² outdoor pool, a 45 m² paddling pool, bubble baths, various water slides, waterfalls and an artificial river of 110 metres long!
Among the other camping equipments, we find a skate park, tennis courts, multi-sports grounds, a ropes course adventure park, a zip line, a mini-golf, a circus school, a pony club, a ranch, etc. Simply said, everything to suit young an old, especially because kids can enjoy the child's club and the teens club to make new friends and to have fun like crazy!
The evening menu is equally well packed, since it is possible to attend numerous concerts, shows, karaoke nights and other disco and dancing evenings…
A 5-star campsite in Carnac
The accommodation, facilities and entertainment of La Grande Métairie do not encourage campers to leave the campsite, through their sheer quality and abundance. That said, it is nonetheless important to highlight the campsite’s geographical position. Located in the Morbihan, the establishment proposes during the season every fifteen minutes a free shuttle to Carnac, at 5 minutes from the campsite, but also to the adjacent seaside resort: Carnac Beach.
Carnac Beach has all the assets to seduce tourists; a beautiful rugged coastline, long sandy beaches, sailing schools, a casino and many gourmet restaurants. However, the reputation of this city is mainly due to its alignments of menhirs. These menhirs, 2,934 in total, are the largest concentration of its kind in the world. By the way, the campsite's shuttle stops on the site of Kermario, the best-known and most visited one of all, located at 800 metres from La Grande Métairie.
