Nai’a Village - 4-star campsite Le Barcarès
Ideally situated a stone’s throw from the seaside, in the coastal resort of Le Barcarès, in the Pyrénées Orientales (Western Pyrenees), the 4-star campsite Nai’a Village is an establishment with countless advantages. Open throughout the year, it accommodates holidaymakers who wish to take advantage of its facilities but also make the most of its location to go to the beach or discover the wonders of the region.
An optimal location a stone’s throw from the beach
The Nai’a Village campsite is located 5 minutes from the town centre Le Barcarès and 15 kilometres from Perpignan. The latter is one of the loveliest campsites of this busy and lively Catalan coast seaside resort, adjacent to Le Canet en Roussillon and around 50 kilometres from the Spanish border.
Nai’a Village is established upon a campsite which occupies several hectares of wooded and carefully maintained land. Le Barcarès beach is one kilometre from the campsite You can go there on foot, going along the Agly cycling and hiking path which follows the river from which it takes its name. The river adjoins the campsite and flows into the Mediterranean thus separating the Le Barcarès beach from that of Torreilles.
In total, this top-of-the-range establishment in the Pyrénées Orientales, has 339 parcels of which a hundred are intended to accommodate campers and their tent, caravan and camper. Calm, shaded and spacious (each being approximately 100 m²) and separated from each other by greenery, these pitches are all equipped with an individual shower room in which you find a shower, a sink and a WC, as well as an external wash basin.
The other plots comprise the campsite’s holiday-hire accommodation. Numerous and varied these plots are suitable for families, as much as groups of friends, who wish to enjoy a superior level of comfort during their holidays on the Le Barcarès campsite. Able to accommodate from between 2 to 6 people according to their respective layout, these rentals take the form of bungalows and mobile homes. They are fully equipped and include a terrace.
An aquatic park which is increasingly incredible
On-site, holidaymakers can make the most of a large range unsurpassed services and facilities to make their stay as pleasant as possible. If they have the slightest question or if a problem arises, they can go to the campsite reception, which is open every day without any interruptions from 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Throughout the summer, a grocery is open on-site and enables holidaymakers to stock up without having to leave the campsite. Likewise, from 1st July to 31st August, the Nai’a Village’s the restaurant/snack-bar/bar, “Le Dauphin”, invites those who wish partake for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or simply an ice cream or a cold drink. Note that during the summer season evenings, the restaurant terrace hosts entertainment and campsite shows!
Lastly, a launderette, as well as the Wi-Fi network complete this rundown of our services. Regarding equipment and leisure facilities scattered throughout the campsite, the latter include a multi-sports ground, a fitness centre with gym equipment and a sauna (new for 2017), a 5-wall climbing wall structure, (unique to France and new for 2017), an archery range, a slackline, inflatable games as well as an impressive aquatic park.
Activities and entertainment for all!
The area reserved for swimming as well as aquatic games is indeed is impressive in its proportions and the facilities which comprise it. Further redesigned and extended at the beginning of the 2017 season, this now stretches over a surface greater than 2,000 m² and includes, in additional to a 350 m² heated lagoon swimming pool, a second heated pool of 112 m², whirlpool path, a splashpad with a multitude of water games. This includes a giant whale to amuse children as well as four large thrill-seeker slides!
These four slides are respectively called the Slide’Tob à Quatre Pistes (“4-slide Slide’Tob”), the Compact Slide, the Aquatube as well as the Space Hole. Each more insane than the others, they allow lovers of slides and thrill seekers to indulge themselves! Lastly, around the pools, solaria and sunbeds invite lovers of idleness to bask in the sunshine.
Moreover during the summer season, two nights per week holidaymakers are able to to make the most of the Nai’a Village aquatic area until midnight. Note that the latter accommodates various activities in the daytime, such as aquaerobics sessions, aquabiking and aquaboxing, slide, swimming, water polo and water tennis and similar activities.
Various other sports and/or recreational competitions are organised on terra firma by the team from the Le Barcarès campsite. Cultural activities and pétanque competitions are on the programme for the holidays, whilst the very young can join children’s and teenagers clubs on the campsite to have fun and make friends!
