Continental - a 4-star campsite in Bardolino
Located on the eastern shore of Lake Garda, in the vicinity of the tourist town of Bardolino, the Continental campsite is an establishment rated 4 star. With its colourful and fun water park, its comfortable holiday rentals and its varied services, it meets all of the criteria enabling holidaymakers to have a delightful stay in the Province of Verona, and by one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe.
A campsite by the water, on the banks of Lake Garda
Continental enjoys a most enviable location in Bardolino, a town located 30 kilometres from Verona, which extends from the banks of the famous Lake Garda to the undulating morainic hills. Here, for centuries, they have cultivated as many vineyards as olive groves. It is right on the shores of this mythical lake in Italy, that this 4-star campsite is located.
This occupies grounds of around a dozen hectares, being delightfully landscaped. Trees cover part of this location, and thus provide welcome shade and freshness, to the pitches laid out underneath them. In total, this campsite on Lake Garda has 220 plots, whose surface area varies between 50 m² to 70 m². Some of these plots even offer access to, and a direct view on to, the lake!
This campsite also has 19 holiday rentals. Dubbed “bungalows”, they take the form of luxury flats built as permanent structures, and decorated in lively colours. These holiday rentals are modern and comprised of a living area, with a sofa bed, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a WC. In addition, all of the bungalows have a private patio, with garden furniture (table and chairs).
A water park for the entire family!
As regards services, this Bardolino campsite has a small grocery on-site and also a bar - restaurant, whose terrace overlooks the water park. This is the leading facility of the Continental campsite, with its two large pools, and its play and amusement facilities, located around the swimming pools. Amongst these, there is a mini-climbing wall, a rope and a net, enabling you to climb colourful slopes.
In the vicinity of the water park, there is also a beach volleyball court, as well as other sports facilities. Guests staying on this establishment can also opt to swim in Lake Garda. A beach has thus been laid out along the site, and sinks gently into the water, whilst it is possible to get a tan by lying down on the lawned area, that runs alongside the sandy beach.
During the summer season, the campsite organises various activities for children and adults alike. Amongst these activities, the Pool Party, with a beach volleyball tournament and a DJ Set are particularly sought-after. These festive afternoons and evenings are the opportunity for holidaymakers to meet, dance and have delightful convivial times together.

By staying at the Continental campsite, holidaymakers are therefore spoilt for choice, when organising their day. Although, as we have just seen, they can take advantage of the direct access to the lake and the water park for swimming, its sports and leisure facilities to have fun and relax, they can also go off to explore the surrounding area.
Moreover, the least we can say is that the eastern shore of Lake Garda sets aside a multitude of surprises for them. Numerous paths have been laid out around the lake, so as to offer hikers and cyclists superb walks and rides. There is even a path suspended above the water, between Limone sul Garda and Capo Reamol, considered as one of the most beautiful cycle paths in the world!
